Benjamin Bonzi has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Open 13 Provence at the expense of Maxime Cressy who decided to give him a hard time for a little over two hours. In a match where consistency of service played a big role, Maxime Cressy won the first set in an unbearable tie-break (7-5). But Benjamin's determination allowed him to come back into the match and win. Too irregular on serve to hope for a better result (13 double faults for 22 aces), Maxime Cressy missed his chance and it is Benjamin Bonzi who will play for a place in the semi-finals against the winner of the match between Alex de Minaur and Alexander Ritschard.
