The official list for the Open 13 Provence has just been unveiled!
After last year's celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the tournament, the stars of world tennis will be meeting up on the courts of the Palais des Sports in Marseille for the 2024 edition, from 5 to 11 February!
Ten players ranked among the world's top 30, whether they are young talents, experienced players or players who have established themselves year after year among the elite, will be competing for the final trophy.
Starting with one of the players who ended the 2023 season on a high note, Italian Jannik Sinner. Having already played on the Marseille courts on three occasions, Jannik will be keen to add another title to his collection of honours, and will be going into the tournament as one of the favourites.
The draw will be enriched by the presence of Hubert Hurkacz, ranked 9th in the world. Displaying impressive consistency in tournaments over the last few seasons, the Pole will be defending his title in Marseille. The question now is whether he will manage to do the double this year.
Grigor Dimitrov, recent winner of the Brisbane tournament (ATP 250), will be back on the courts of Marseille. In top form, the Bulgarian has ended a period of more than 6 years without a win, making him a player to keep a very close eye on.
The outgoing semi-finalist at the 2023 Australian Open, Karen Khachanov, adds to the impressive line-up. Already a winner of the tournament in 2018, the giant will be looking to play spoilsport in Marseille and claim a second title here, and then a sixth in his career.
Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray has made an unexpected comeback despite hip problems, and remains unbeaten in Marseille, having won the title on his only previous appearance in 2008. One of the legends of the last two decades will be on hand to go as far as he possibly can.
The talented young Italian Lorenzo Musetti will also be taking part, as will Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime, who is looking to breathe new life into his career. Sebastian Korda and Lorenzo Sonego will complete this magnificent line-up.
On the French side, Ugo Humbert, the French number two, joins the list of highly anticipated players. On an excellent run of form, particularly after winning the Moselle Open at the end of last year, the left-hander will be looking to confirm his great form in Marseille.
So who will be the winner of the 32nd edition of the Open 13 Provence, which is already shaping up to be a thriller?
